Privacy Policy
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using FAI.
Effective date: March 22, 2026
These pages are intended for publication alongside the FAI App Store listing and companion web presence.
What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how FAI collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the FAI app, the FAI website, and related services.
By using FAI, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, complete your profile, upload content, send messages, or otherwise use the service.
- Account and profile details such as your username, display name, email address, password credentials, profile settings, and date of birth used to confirm eligibility to use FAI and set up your account.
- Content and communications you choose to create or share, including photos, captions, comments, reactions, profile images, and direct messages.
- Technical and diagnostic information such as app version, device type, log data, crash information, and request metadata needed to operate, secure, and improve FAI.
- Permissions and tokens you explicitly enable, such as camera access and push notification tokens.
How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain FAI, authenticate users, personalize the experience, deliver content, support messaging and notifications, moderate abuse, investigate misuse, and improve product performance and reliability.
How information may be shared
We may share information in the following situations:
- With other users when you publish content, complete your public profile, or otherwise use features that are meant to be visible to others, subject to your in-app privacy settings.
- With service providers that help us host, store, secure, and deliver FAI.
- When required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when needed to protect the rights, safety, and security of FAI, our users, or the public.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets involving FAI.
Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to operate FAI, protect the service and our users, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Some information may remain in backups, logs, or safety systems for a limited period even after content is removed from the app.
Your choices
You can manage some account, profile, privacy, and notification settings inside the app. You can also control device-level permissions such as camera and notifications through iOS settings.
Children
You must be at least 13 years old to use FAI. We use date of birth during signup to confirm eligibility, and we do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts or provide personal information to FAI.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we may update the effective date on this page and provide additional notice when appropriate.
